The first bus of refugees leaves from Ternopil today. After many days of logistical support, a van with several VM4U volunteers including Brother Eric from ANCOP and medical support volunteers from First Hand First Aid are on their way to the Polish border, where they will join a bus filled with refugees from Ternopil.

As noted in previous updates, specifically those provided by VM4U partner, Alberto, Ternopil has been flooded with internally displaced people fleeing Russian attacks on other cities in Ukraine.

Today, a bus with approximately 50 refugees will travel from Ternopil to Vienna. Once in Vienna, the refugees will spend the night at Messe Prater before moving on to the Ukrainian Welcome Center the next morning. More updates to come as this mission progresses.

Please continue to support VM4U and don’t forget to sign up for our communications to get updates directly in your inbox.
