1 passenger van team, Mateusz, David, and Svetlana, departed Vienna for the Polish-Ukrainian border on a refugee transport, retrieval, and supply mission.  A young female passenger was transported to the Medyke, Poland border crossing and returned to Ukraine.  En route, Konrad informed VM4U of an urgent water shortage at Medyke border crossing.  VM4U responded and the van team purchased 1 ton of water which was also delivered to the Medyke border crossing in addition to 300 thermal blankets donated by Mateusz.  From there, the team drove to the Przemysl, Poland Refugee Center for the pickup of 5 passengers (family of mother and child; 3 of Svetlana’s family).  The mother and child were transported to loved ones in Burgenland, Austria and Svetlana’s family returned with her.  The van was generously donated by Michael.
